Linda D. Guydon, M.D., received her bachelor's degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and went on to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Boston City Hospital. Dr. Guydon relocated to Atlanta where she joined Southeastern Health Services (PruCare) and practiced General Internal Medicine from 1983-1988. In 1988, she joined the Atlanta Medical Associates where she served as co-founder and Medical Director of the Immediate Care Center until 1992. In 1992, she began a fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Guydon is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology. Her special areas of interests include the management of asthma and sinus disease.
Dr. Guydon has published several articles in professional journals including the Journal of Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology, Pediatric Asthma, Allergy & Immunology and Respiratory Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Guydon was voted one of Atlanta's top allergists in Atlanta
magazine's "Top Doctors" issue in 2012.
In her spare time, Dr. Guydon enjoys traveling, biking, listening to music, dancing and reading.
