Scott Carroll, M.D.



Scott Carroll, M.D., is the senior partner of the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic, having started in the practice in 1973. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, earned his medical degree from the Medical School at St. Louis University, and completed his pediatric training at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Following this Dr. Carroll joined the United States Air Force at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia where he practiced pediatrics for two years. He left there to spend two years at the University of Michigan where he completed his Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Carroll is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Carroll is a past president of the Georgia Allergy and Asthma Society and presently on the steering committee for the Education Research Trust Fund for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

In 1996, Dr. Carroll wrote a book about nutrition entitled "BE FAT FREE FOREVER". This book provides a metabolic approach toward wellness and prevention, and serves as the foundation for Doctors Care Weight Loss Healthy Living, Inc.

Dr. Carroll lives in Sandy Springs with his wife Roseanne. They have two daughters and two sons. Dr. Carroll loves to play golf, workout on Nordic Track and in-line skate. Being from Colorado, he is an avid skier.

Dr. Carroll sees patients at our Sandy Springs and Windy Hill locations.
