Dr. Stanley Fineman Featured in CNN Story on Allergies and the "Farm Affect"

Dr. Stanley Fineman was recently featured in a CNN story that explored theories explaining the marked increase in children with allergies over the past 20 to 30 years.

One such theory, recently published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, suggests that the modern antiseptic lifestyle has contributed to the increase in allergies. A study found that children who lived and worked on farms were less likely to be diagnosed with allergies than city children.
