Studies bring new treatments

The Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic has been actively involved in conducting clinical research studies for more than 25 years. These studies help in the development of new therapies for patients with allergies.

Our Research Department is currently conducting research in the areas of asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and skin allergies in order to help develop new and more effective medications and therapies for these conditions. Clinical studies are frequently conducted with pharmaceutical companies using medications that have demonstrated promise as potential future therapies for patients.

We need patients who are willing to help.

Participation in a research investigation is always voluntary. The research participant receives extra close follow-up and monitoring of their care, study medication and access to potential new therapies, as well as financial compensation, which varies depending on the study requirements.

If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about our research opportunities, please contact us by phone at 770-592-4210. Remember that it is not necessary to be a patient of one of our doctors in order to participate. Please feel free to pass along this information to anyone who is interested in helping in the development of new therapies for asthma and allergic disease.
