Congratulations to our Research Department on receipt of the Syneos Research Site Appreciation Award in recognition of their contribution to the Aimmune sponsored oral immunotherapy study for peanut allergy. This research has resulted in a recent publication of the impressive preliminary results in New England Journal of Medicine which reported that after treatment, 2/3 of the peanut allergy patients were able to tolerate 600 mg of peanut protein.

The Study Team (Dr. Stanley Fineman, Kimberly Clay, NP, Sherry Maner, Martha Coggins, and Donna Bazelmans) is recognized for their efforts in improving treatment options available to patients worldwide.

The Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Research Department continually participates in studies that help develop and advance therapies for our patients with allergic disease and asthma. Research from trials like this one allows us to stay on the cutting edge of developments in our field.
