Saturday night, physicians and staff from Atlanta Allergy helped administer more than 100 free asthma screenings at the Atlanta Hawks game.

As the Hawks defeated the New York Knicks, Atlanta Allergy & Asthma, in partnership with ACAAI and the Allergy & Asthma Network, screened children and adults for asthma, one of our nation's most prevalent conditions.

Asthma symptoms affect an estimated 26 million Americans and are one of the leading causes of work and school absences. Additionally, allergies are a major cause of illness in the United States. As many as 50 million people—about one in five—have allergies.

Allergists Stan Fineman, Lily Hwang, and Erinn Gardner assisted, along with a team of staff members from our 18 clinic locations.
