Research at Atlanta Allergy & Asthma

Atlanta Allergy & Asthma has been actively involved in conducting clinical research studies for more than 25 years. These studies help in the development of new therapies for patients with allergies and asthma.

Our Research Department conducts and participates in ongoing trials. Participation in a research investigation at Atlanta Allergy & Asthma is always voluntary. The research participant is closely monitored and receives any study medications and access to potential new therapies. Additionally, they may receive financial compensation, which varies depending on the study requirements.

We conduct research in the areas of asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and skin allergies in order to help develop new and more effective medications and therapies for these conditions. Clinical studies are frequently conducted with pharmaceutical companies using medications that have demonstrated promise.

If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about our research opportunities, please contact us by phone at 770.592.4210. Remember that it is not necessary to be a patient of one of our doctors in order to participate. Please feel free to pass along this information to anyone who is interested in helping in the development of new therapies for asthma and allergic disease.
