Office Hour Changes and COVID Protocol Updates

Updated on Friday, April 16, 2021

The health and safety of our patients and staff continues to be our number one priority. As a result of our safety protocols, we are pleased to have remained open throughout the pandemic providing care to our patients both in-office and via telehealth visits.

We will continue to follow CDC guidelines to protect our patients and staff, especially those at higher risk for complications from infection. Face coverings will continue to be required for anyone entering our 17 offices and all efforts to maintain social distancing will be maintained. Special cleaning protocols will remain active.

Patients making appointments will be assessed for risk factors upon scheduling and reminded of guidelines in their appointment confirmations and reminders. However, we will no longer be screening at the entrance to our offices. Temperatures will be taken upon check-in at the front desk, or for injection patients, by the injection nurse.

If ANY of the below statements apply to you, please call to reschedule your appointment:

  • You have had a fever (101 or above) in the past 14 days.
  • You have lower respiratory symptoms: cough and/or shortness of breath.
  • You are currently or have recently experienced at least two of the following: fever; chills; repeated shaking with chills; muscle pain; headache; sore throat; newly developed loss of taste or smell.
  • You have been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19, have been in contact with a person who has been directly exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19, or are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test.

We are extending afternoon office hours at the following clinics beginning Monday, April 19th:

Alpharetta, Canton, Hamilton Mill, Lawrenceville, Northlake, and Snellville. Please check the website for your clinic’s hours.

Our Austell, Douglasville and Stockbridge offices will resume late afternoon hours April 26 and Sandy Springs on May 10.

All offices will continue to be closed between 12 noon and 1 p.m. to allow staff to perform COVID cleaning/sanitizing protocols.

We are seeing patients in all offices but continue to offer telehealth visits for patients who request a virtual appointment with their AA&A provider.
