Dear Patients,

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news of my upcoming retirement on September 25, 2025. Caring for you and your family members has truly been the most rewarding part of my 34-year medical career.

I was fortunate to join Atlanta Allergy & Asthma in 1991, a practice made up of dedicated, board-certified allergists and an exceptional team of Advanced Practitioners, nurses, and administrative professionals. Over the years, it has been a privilege to work alongside such a talented and compassionate group.

What has meant the most to me, however, is the trust you’ve placed in me to care for you and your loved ones—often across multiple generations. I’ve come to know many of you as friends, and I treasure the relationships we’ve built over the years.

The Woodstock office team will continue to provide you with the high-quality, personalized care you deserve. Many of you already know Belinda Ferguson, PA-C, who will remain an integral part of our care team. You will also be introduced to Dr. Alex Gilmore, who will be transitioning to the Woodstock office to assume care of my patients. Dr. Gilmore is a skilled and compassionate physician who has been seeing patients in our Canton and Austell offices, and I have every confidence that you will be in excellent hands with him.

If you have active issues, or would like to see me prior to my departure, please schedule an appointment before September.

As I embark upon this next chapter, please know how much I will miss you. I will remain in close communication with my colleagues at Atlanta Allergy & Asthma and take great comfort knowing you will continue to receive outstanding care.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at the Woodstock office: 770-924-0096.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your healthcare team. If I don’t see you before I leave, I wish you good health and happiness in the future.

Warm regards,

Sandra Roberson, M.D.
