Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society of Georgia Honors Dr. Silk, Names Dr. Sheerin President-Elect

The Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society of Georgia held their annual meeting May 1-3 at Lake Lanier. Allergists from across the state gathered to share knowledge, ideas and experiences that help doctors provide optimal care for their patients with allergic, asthmatic and immunologic disease.

Atlanta Allergy & Asthma physicians were on hand as the group honored our own Dr. Howard Silk for his service as president of the organization over the past two years. Dr. Kathleen Sheerin (allergist in our Sandy Springs and Lawrenceville offices) was named incoming president-elect and will serve this organization over the next four years.
